Why Biz Moms™ exists

Moms should not have to choose between being ambitious and being present.

Biz Moms™ was founded by Margarita Serova in Winnipeg, Canada, in July 2025. It began with eight moms and a simple idea: create a welcoming professional space where mothers could build real relationships, talk honestly about work and motherhood, share knowledge and grow.

We make professional connection easier to access and more compatible with real life — because talent and ambition do not disappear when a woman becomes a mother.

From the founder

I created Biz Moms™ because I needed it myself.

Hi, my name is Margarita Serova. I’m a Chartered Marketer, consultant specializing in human-centred marketing and relationship-led growth, TEDx speaker and workshop creator with 20 years of international experience — and a mom of two boys. I know what it feels like to have ambitions, ideas and professional goals while motherhood changes how much time, energy and space you have for yourself.

I was looking for a place where moms could build real relationships and real business, talk honestly about work and motherhood, learn from each other and grow — where being ambitious and being a mom could simply belong together.

I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for.

So I created Biz Moms™! Welcome to our cozy space where we do not need to apologize for being… Bizzy Moms.
