Biz Moms™ is a professional community founded by Margarita Serova in Winnipeg in July 2025 for mothers navigating business, careers, entrepreneurship and motherhood. It started with just eight moms and a simple idea: to create a welcoming space where mothers could build real relationships, share knowledge, support each other and grow.

Over its first year of continuous community support, Biz Moms™ held 12 in-person meetups, 4 online workshops, a networking event at IKEA, a community partnership event and an International Women’s Day celebration, with 8 guest speakers sharing their expertise throughout the year.

Hi, I'm Margarita. I created Biz Moms™ because I needed it myself.

I'm a marketing and growth consultant, speaker — and a mom of two boys. I know what it feels like to have ambitions, ideas and professional goals while motherhood changes how much time, energy and space you have for yourself.

I was looking for a place where moms could build real relationships and real business, talk honestly about work and motherhood, learn from each other and grow — where being ambitious and being a mom could simply belong together.

I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for.
